December Good Stuff Award

The month of December is such a memorable month for our children. Aside from the fun stuff they had at school like the pancake breakfast sponsored by the firefighters, the Choir Concert, there was also a giving of Good Stuff Award. We are very grateful and proud of our daughter for getting an award. Although not that huge accomplishment, but thinking of our child's effort and get recognized is such an uplifting moment for us as her parents.

Kids On Rainy Days

Here comes a lot of rain in BC! Rain every night and every day. Cold plus rain equals, what? Recently that my husband has another morning errands to deal with, I am the one taking and picking up the kids at school.

The bus stop is about 8 minutes walk from where we reside, so a lot of fun to occur while along the way.

I am just sharing with you guys the snapshots of my kids while on the way home waiting for the traffic light. Just killing the boredom brought by the rain at that time. hehehe.

A Bunch of Product Samples

It's been a while since I don't collect samples from online sources. I have twitted before that I was in procrastination. I lost my motivations and I let myself carried away by the big dragon. However, I am now back for good. I am feeling blessed and happy for that. I have set also once again my goals that motivate me to keep going and stay focus.

I am back to couponing, collecting samples and doing my other online errands for an extra income. Still, I am balancing my role as a full-time mother and online worker. Honestly, it was such a struggle for me in the beginning, but as long as I know my limitations and roles in life, I will be in the right direction. 

My recent samples received. Kids are happy with the chocolates and candies. lol! 

Boy's Kid Halloween Costume

Few days left before the Halloween, but I have not purchased yet the Halloween costume for my son. He got two costumes from last year that still fits on him, so I wonder if I need to get a new one. It is not necessarily though to have a new Halloween costume every year. Hmm.. we'll see if I could get a new one for him pretty soon. My son wants the Captain America kind. Hopefully, there is free one out there for a review.

Wonderful Musical Birthday Cake from the Kids

The Wonderful Musical Birthday Cake Made of Paper!

The mother dear celebrated her birthday two weeks ago, and to her surprised the kiddos gave her this wonderful musical birthday cake made of paper. The candle lights up when the card is open and gets turned off in a little while. The mom (yours truly) blew it as the kiddos told her to do so. lol! Pretending that it is a real cake. hehehe! They're too much!

So pretending the blowing, here is the mom following the request. I was truly delighted when I blew the card it plays a beautiful birthday song.

Thanks to my thoughtful kids and to my beloved husband for accompanying them at the store. We had a simple birthday celebration at home, but it certainly marked in my heart as a memorable one for giving our Heavenly father to me another time to face the challenging life with more strength, wisdom and great experiences. Thank you so much Lord!

Nestor Elementary's Sports Day

Last Friday dated June 08, 2013 was Nestor Elementary's Sports Day. Our son was very excited in going to school. Unfortunately before the event started a heavy rain ruined the wonderful day. Due to that they had the event held in the school gym. The space is quite fine but it would be great if outside of their field as it is so spacious there.

My son was in a green team so he wore the green shirt to have a team uniform. I saw the happiness on my son's face when I picked him up and announced their team status in overall ranking. The green team got the 2nd place! Son take home this ribbon found below for the participation.

In the coming few days the school will be over and soon he will be in a Math summer class offered for free. Aside from that we are planning on enrolling him in Martial arts and both of them in swimming. It will be fun and a busy summer for them. 

Son's Artwork

As a proud mother I'd like to share with you the artwork of my 5 y.o. son. I could say that he has great improvements in drawing and that he learned at school. I don't teach him such thing as I don't have that talent. Is that an excuse? Honestly I was surprised to see the work of my son below- the first image are bees. According to him these bees are sucking the flowers juice which is the nectar then later the bees produced honey. He also draw the honey found in between the flowers.

The second image is a butterfly. He used my star cookie mold that he got from the kitchen to form this butterfly. Kudos to his teacher as she did a great job. I thought our son was just kept playing and sleeping in the school as every time we asked him from school as soon as he arrives he just answered either "I don't know or we play all day."

We are also proud that at his age he already learn how to read two syllable words and do simple Math subtraction and addition. In the coming days I'll gonna introduce to him another operation, the multiplication. Good job to our son! I hope he will continue to show eagerness to learn.

Are they Twins?

What can you see about these two little creatures? Do they look twins to you? Wherever we go many people thought that my two kids are twins. Hmmm... Well, they absolutely look like it but they are actually not! 

Yesterday when the weather was nice to us we went to the park and play. Yet cold but it was fine than rain which we always have here in BC. The weather sucks here. I can't blame my kids to be jumping for joy when they see sunshine and beg me to take them out from jail. 

My son is on school break now for two weeks so home most of the time then. Anyway, I took some great photos (wink) of them on our last outdoor moment.

Spends Quality Time with His Best Friend

I was amazed with the photos I saw on Yahoo awhile ago- the Japanese kid named Tasuku spends  quality time with his French bulldog named Muu. Isn't the pet has a cute name? And aren't they so sweet? Tasuku's mother documented images of these two lovely creatures on Facebook and Instagram based on the article I have read. 

I really love watching these two. I will show this to my 5 year old son tomorrow as he is very aloof with the dog. Maybe it is because we never had such pet in the house.

I love dog actually. My mother raised 2-3 dogs before, just the ordinary dog call as Askal and I loved taking care of them. Owning a pet here in North America is not the same in the Philippines, there are multiple differences. Here you must walk with the dog outside the house, so it obviously needs extra time of you to do that. Me with always in full-hands with the kids I don't think I have enough time for walking the dog. Besides, more expenditures but you know how I wish we have a dog even just one.

First Time Bath in the Rain

My little girl wants to take a bath in the rain but I kept saying no to her. She's so stubborn and there she go under the rain. She had lots of audience as it was her first time and had a blast. She's so funny! After this moment she whispered to me this "Mom tomorrow again!" lol! So I answered OKAY! lol!

Then my eldest (4 yr old. son) got jealous, and he told me "Me too will join next time to take a bath in the rain. Mom, it will rain again tomorrow?" Oh, the innocent one he also never experienced grabbing the opportunity of what the rain offers because of the mother's word NO.

Reminiscing my childhood days, I had fun always in the rain. Since we just walk from home to school and vise versa, my mother was not there to say NO to bath in the rain because we already did it while walking together with other children. So we look like a wet chick when we arrived home (cold and freezing). lol!

Friday Fill-Ins #12

And...here we go!

1. Life is "what you make it" so do the best you can.

2. My life is still keep going.

3. My last text message (or IM) ended in these three words: Bye bye Hon.

4. Sumptuous seafood is what I'm thinking about for dinner sometime soon.

5. On the 1st day of August sad to say that my kids and I got sick.

6. Though I am still sick but I am still trying to be lively and energetic.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to sleep early, tomorrow my plans include do my laundry, clean my messy room and Sunday, I want to spend time with the kids!

His First Day of School

Today is son's first day of school. I'll be busy again starting this date because I'll be the one to drop and wait for my him during school days. Son is very excited. His eyes are glowing like he knows what would gonna happen inside the class room. Surely he'll meet another friends. So this is it! It's also like the the start of my journey dealing with the heavy traffic on the road before reaching to the school.

He is in Big Trouble

He is longing for justice. He is my son and in need of help badly to get out from his daddy's big shirt. lol!

He Wants My Undivided Attention

I have lots of things to do especially my blogging career. lol! Career? I'm a member of Stay At Home Mom but a part time blogger who earns few bucks online writing whatever comes on my mind, either with sense or nonsense, so therefore it's a career. lol! As a mom it's hard doing things if you have a child who wants undivided attention from you. Long list of work is waiting for me but I finding hard fulfulling what's written on the list because of my son who wants undivided attention from me. And there he is in the photo.

My 2 Little Raindrops

Here are my 2 little raindrops, I just want to share with you their sweet memories together. They're not sweet at all times, sometimes they are like cats and dogs, chasing and scratching one another. hehehe! Yes, my 2 little raindrops are like that, but still they are always in my heart filling my day with darkness and sunshine. I love you little raindrops.

Question #1: Cheated Husband or Wife

We know that temptation is anytime and anywhere on earth and if you are really weak to handle it one day you'll just realized that you already cheated your partner. Even to those couples who are always seeing each other everyday, still many of them committed mistakes, they betrayed their husbands or wives. If you are in the situation, what will you do if you have a cheated wife or husband?

Teething Time

I just noticed yesterday that my baby girl is started having teeth. She was drooling when she was in 3 months and that's the only sign so far that I noticed. I'm glad that she's a happy baby, will just cry if she's wet and if she's hungry. Hopefully she will not get sick during her teething times because some babies within this period often get sick like our neighbors. Well, just keep on praying and everything will be fine.

The Couple with 18 Children

When I open the computer yesterday I saw at yahoo headlines the woman from Arkansas named Michelle Duggar had just delivered a baby girl by cesarean section to her 18th child. When I read it I asked my self "What 18th baby?". Oh my goodness!I was really surprised on that woman. And they said they want more.

So the Duggar family have now 10 sons and 8 daughters. Hmmm.. When do you think they will have another baby? Well, We will watch out for that.

Anyway, having a big family is fun when the kids are grown already, but of course big expenses also especially when they reach in college. So the parents must have to prepare in everything for their needs in order to raise their children well to be somebody in the future.

Showing of Gratefulness

My precious daughter is now 3 months old and I am very happy that she's fine and healthy. As a sign of being thankful to God for giving us a healthy and beautiful baby I purchased her a cake from Goldilocks. Usually I do it every month if can remember.lol! And my hubby asked me again if who eat the cake. So I answered of course the beautiful witch. lol!(referring to myself). Well in fairness cake from Goldilocks taste good, they can count on me as one of their avid customer and hopefully they'll give me discount next time.
