What My Kids Primary Fun in the Mountain this Winter 2017

I have mentioned that we are now dwelling up the hill of Coquitlam. A vicinity where the wild animals are also residing and mingled with humans on a day to day basis. Does it sound scary? Well, not in the winter time, I guess!

And speaking of winter, my kids, and especially myself can cease thinking for a while about bears roaming around us. So this is the reason we came out of our cage and walk around across the street where the kiddos can have fun with the thick snow brought this 2017 to us. Luckily, no need for us to travel to Whistler to experience the crazy snow, which the tourists are up to in BC. Across our street is a huge golf course which the land has covered deeply with such beautiful whites all over, inviting for anyone to have a memorable time while it lasts. 

Eying for a Rice Cooker with Multiple Features

To have a quick admit, I love to eat rice. Back home I ate rice 3 times in a day. I have told my husband before that without a rice maybe I gonna die. Isn't that a funny perception? 

Since I get here in North America where rice is very costly I have realized that what I have told my husband was just a lie. I felt a bit embarrassed for what I have uttered because now I have proved to myself that without a rice I can still live. lol! There are lots of carbohydrates sources out there when you look in the store. I just didn't bother to look before. 

Although I don't buy and eat much rice particularly the white ones, yet I still need a rice cooker for cooking rice for the kids. However, I am not in the search for the said appliance intended only for cooking rice but of course with other  feature such as steamer. I steamed a lot esp. the veggies. 

Aside from steaming, of course I'd like several usage that I can use in a daily basis. Anyways, any type you can recommend for me to buy? I'd like also to consider the price and the quality of the little appliance to bring to our home. So if you have an idea, that would be pretty much helpful to my shopping.

Why Dishwashing Detergent Not Dissolving

Obviously, the question is clear and bold. Isn't it? How frustrating would that be if such scenario happens to you - in your own dishwasher? Let’s face it, our world has changed immeasurably since cell phones became small enough to fit into our pocket, and powerful enough to look up random Star Trek trivia. In fact, cell phones have become such an inextricable part of our day-to-day lives that we’re now seeing 3D-printed accessories that augment, protect, and beautify our devices. Although we haven’t reached a technological level where people can print custom cell phones from scratch, that time isn’t far off. The Wearable Phone Glove

It’s official — the future is here, and it comes in the form of a telephone glove. Designed by Bryan Cera, Glove One goes one step further than current wearables on the market and actually puts a phone on your hand. Like an 80s sci-fi film come to life, there are working buttons on the inside of your fingers that correspond to the number keypad. The thumb has an earphone and the pinky finger has a small microphone, so you literally hold your hand up to your face in a mimed “talking on the phone” gesture. It’s a whimsical take on the smart phone accessory, and Cera has shared detailed instructions for how to build one at home.

First, you’ll need to start by gathering all of the required materials and tools, including an unlocked cell phone to place into the device. If you’re feeling particularly confident about your engineering skills, MIT’s media lab has also shared an open-source way to build your own phone from scratch. Next, you’ll need to make a paper prototype of the glove that fits your hand, so that the end product is comfortable to wear. With the prototype as a guide, you can create a digital model of the glove using 3D graphics software, which will sync up with the 3D printer. Once the plastic parts are fabricated and printed, you’ll need to wire the electronic components together and secure the phone’s buttons into the glove.
